Toris shuffled into the art room, sweat-shirt covered arms wrapped around his thin frame. There wasn't anyone else in the room at the moment but he didn't mind.
He shuffled over to the table that held all the painting stuff, taking a seat in one of the rickety chairs and just looking at the worn brushes, pieces of paper and watercolors. What was he supposed to do with them?
Painting did seem like it might be relaxing and fun, but he honestly had no idea how to even start. He sighed, sitting there and shivering, not really having the energy to get up out of the seat and go find someone to ask them for help. Instead he just folded his arms on the table, put his head down and closed his eyes.
Within moments he'd fallen asleep.

Maddie walked in the art room to see a sleeping Toris. She smiled to herself and placed her white lap coat of his body trying not to wake him up. Maddie walked slowly away from him to the other side of the room to refill the paint bottles.

Toris didn't stir as the coat was placed over his body. He continued to slumber, breathing soft and quiet. His poor, thin frame seemed to be trying to compensate for it's lack of energy by making him more easily worn out, thus forcing him to sleep more often.

Maddie looked from the paint to smile softly at the sleeping patient deciding whether or not to wake him up and bring to his room.

Toris didn't stay asleep for very long, probably only about 15-20 minutes at most. He jolted awake, gazing around the room in slight confusion. Where was he? Oh, right...the art room. He then blinked when he felt the weight of the coat on his shoulders, not yet noticing that Maddie was in the room with him. A thin hand rose to touch the coat, Toris getting a confused look on his face.

"Hello Mr. Laurinatis, did you have a good nap?" Maddie asked gently with a smile.

"I...fell asleep....?" Toris murmured, still looking rather confused. This always happened whenever he accidentally fell asleep. It was like his brain couldn't comprehend that he'd done it. "I-I didn't mean to do that....I'm sorry!"

Maddie smiled "It's perfectly fine Mr.Laurinatis" Maddie giggled.

"H-how weird.....I d-didn't think that I was so tired," Toris mumbled. "I-I apologize again." He stood up shakily from the table, not really remembering what he'd come to the art room to do. His brain felt foggy for some reason.

Maddie gave Toris a worried look. "Mr.Laurinatis, are you feeling Ok?"

"I-I'm fine," the thin teen replied, giving Maddie a weak smile. "I just...my head is foggy at the moment.....i-it happens when I accidentally fall asleep. I'll be ok in a few minutes." At least, that's how it usually went. His head would clear after a few minutes and he would remember what he had been wanting to do before falling asleep.

Maddie frowned, she was still worried. "Okay then Mr.Laurinatis, tell me if you need anything i will be over here" Maddie said and went back to filling the paint.

Toris began to feel his head de-fog after several minutes. "O-oh, right..." he mumbled, looking sheepish. "I th-think I was going to try painting? But I don't know how to start or what to do..." He felt rather stupid at admitting such a thing.

Maddie looked at Toris with a warm smile. "You could try and paint someone from you family, or something from home" She suggested.

"I've never painted before, and I feel rather stupid, but I honestly have no idea how to go about it," Toris admitted sheepishly. He was fiddling with the ends of his too-big sweatshirt, shivering and feeling cold despite the air in the room not really being chilly.
