Lukas was sitting in the grass outside, like he usually did. This time, he was reading the book he stole from Mathias' house when he and the other's snuck out. The idiot doesnt read anyway, it's not like he'll notice...
He flipped through the pages, not finding the book remotely interesting. Oh well, at least he was preoccupied. Being un-preoccupied in a place like this would drive him crazy. Well, Crazier.

Ally walked outside to get some fresh air, the smell of bordeum and sadness in the hospital made her fidgety. She saw lukas flipping through the book 'mind if I join you, Lukas ' she came up behind lukas cautiously

Lukas heard that new nurse's voice. Normally, he would have ignored her or said something that would make her leave. This time, however, he wouldn't do that. He's started to realize recently, that not everyone is an asshole out to get him. The nurse hasn't given him a reason to hate her yet.
He closed his book, swollowed a little shyly, and spoke. "Sure, i don't mind."

Ally smiles kindly and sits next to him, she had never really talked to him before but had heard stories about him. Ally was a little frightened he would do as the stories said. "Why are you out here alone?" She looked at him from the corner of her eyes

"This is my favourite spot, for some stupid reason."
This was the truth, even he didn't understand why he hung around outside so much. Even in the fucking rain, he'd be out here. No wonder he's so messed up, he doesn't even understand the things he does. He remembered the nurse was there, and decided to carry on the conversation.
"I could ask you the same thing, you know."

"the hospital was getting boring inside, so I thought I'd come out here for a walk"
She shrugged, she didn't want to tell him that the hospital made her a little sad.

"I know that feeling. Well, I used to. It seems I've made friends here." He sighed.
His friends were, well, strange to him. Tino, whom he already knew from outside the hospital, was scary in a way. Maddie, the nurse, was too nice for her own good. He worried about her. Toris, well, he was no longer here. Such a shame. Lukas thought he made a difference, oh well.

"Im too new to have made friends yet, people here seem nice though"
She really want to make new friends, ally hated working alone at night because it seemed a little frightning, it was sad to her that she hadn't tried to make friends yet...

"Don't let appearences fool you, All the doctors are annoying. Believe it or not, the patients are more sane than them."
He sighed, those bastards.
"Then again, I guess I should let you find that out for yourself."

"They won't give you the time of day, just warning you. They care nothing about human treatment."
Lukas wondered if he should be talking so casually about the hatred of the staff members to a nurse. Then again, he does the same thing with Maddie, so he doesn't see why now would be any different.
"You're in luck, there are some people here who aren't idiots. Don't become the statistic that is, ja?"

"Is everyone like this?"

"Yes, though, if you can prove you actually give a damn, then it's easy to become well liked. Think of it as a high school, only for crazy people."
That last bit made him laugh a little in his head, though he'd never admit it. His sense of humour is so dumb.

"Much less drinking. Since they don't serve alcohol here, sadly."
Oh god, he already missed the taste of Akvavit. He had just had some not long ago. Maybe he should see someone about that...
