"That sounds nice..." Toris murmured. "I don't have any siblings...I wish I did though..." Maybe if he'd had siblings his life wouldn't had ended up this way. Although at this point he would take any companionship over being with Him.

He laughed a bit. "I suppose, but we haven't had the best life either. Our dad killed our mom and married again, he and his wife don't give s f*ck about us." He let a tear roll down his cheek as soon as he talked about his mother. "S-Sorry..." He wiped it away. He didn't remember the last time he talked to someone like that, other than his beloved sister of course.

"O-oh dear..." Toris murmured. "I...n-never knew my mother..." he stammered out. "She l-left Him when I was a baby..." He hung his head a little bit, hair hiding his face and hands trembling in his lap. "H-He m-made me like this..." He then bit at his bottom lip, unsure if he should really talk about this. "S-sorry," he squeaked out, voice hitching a little as he tried to not panic or start crying.

"H-Hey, it's alright...We shouldn't be really thinking about something like this...it will only make us depressed and that is not good..." The usually quiet man spoke, sighing.
"Well, but I don't think I'll ever be depressed as long as sister is here with me." Nikolai mumbled quietly.

Hastily Toris swiped at his eyes, getting rid of the tears that were starting to form. He sniffled, slowly regaining control of himself. He stayed quiet though, unsure of what to talk about. He didn't think he was very interesting so he didn't have any hobbies really, since he had never been allowed to do anything fun like that. He didn't hear what Nikolai mumbled.

Nikolai looked nervously at the other "S-So...if we are going to be friends...we should learn more about each other, shouldn't we? Do you have a crush on someone? Or perhaps what do you like to do and things like that?" He said quietly, trying to not bother the other.
For the Belorussian this friendship thing was all strange, but good at the same time and he wasn't going to let go of this friendship so easily, now that he had admitted it.

"I d-don't like anyone," Toris mumbled, cheeks flushing slightly in embarrassment. "H-He never let m-me see anyone a-and I dropped out of school s-so...." He bit at his bottom lip again, fiddling with the ends of his sleeves. "H-He didn't let me h-have any hobbies either...."
The young Lithuanian then glanced over at his roommate - friend? - wondering if he seemed boring. "H-how about you?" he asked shyly. This friendship thing was so totally new to him and he hoped that he could learn to be a good friend.

"O-Oh...Well, I kind of like someone, but she doesn't return my feelings the way I want...and well, I have a few hobbies, but I don't really like to talk about them with other people..." He shrugged, he trusted his roommate, but he didn't knew if he would approve of his tastes.
"But perhaps, I guess I can tell you, since you're my friend? Well, I kind of like to paint..."

"That sounds nice. T-to like someone, e-even if they don't return your feelings," Toris replied softly. He'd never had anyone to like before, so it was nice to hear about others who had those sorts of feelings. "R-really? You like to paint?" he asked, looking at Nikolai. "Th-that sounds like fun...is it hard to do something like that?" He wondered if he sounded stupid, asking such a question. He'd seen paintings before of course but had never really bothered to see if he had any talent in such a thing - he hadn't dared to try anything new while living with Him.

He shrugged, he didn't knew if it would be easy or hard, he just painted with his feelings and had always represented what he wanted gracefully.
"I think that in the beginning, when you start painting, it's hard, but then after many tries you get used to it and it's easier." He hoped he had given his roommate a decent answer.

The too-skinny male nodded in understanding at this. The explanation made sense to him. "Maybe while I'm here I can figure out a hobby of some kind..." he mumbled. It would be nice to become an un-boring person, and it would give him something new to do while he stubbornly refused treatment for his anorexia. He didn't know if painting would be a new hobby but maybe he could at least try and see how he liked it?

"Yeah..." He nodded. "But I don't think we can do much here, the stupid doctors think most of the things are 'too dangerous' and all that crap..." He sighed, running a hand through his silver hair. "It's rather boring being around here..."

"Mm, there really isn't much to do here is there?" Toris murmured, nodding in agreement. "You would think they would be able to come up with more things..." He sighed as well, fiddling with his sleeves, his thin frame shivering slightly. He was feeling cold again and just a tiny bit light headed.
